So far so good only had it a few days but feeling very happy with this. I tend to struggle to find comfortable positions to relax due to an L5/S1 issue. With this I can lie in comfort when watching TV and this provides a good stretch on the higher settings 2 or 3. I told my physio about it today and he said 'can you put it behind you when sitting' .. so I tried and , as per the photo, yes you can (strap provided but not sure if this is its intended use).
Suffering from a badly herniated disk and needed something to help with my rehabilitation. It has 3 levels and you really need to start off at the lower one, as it really curves your back. I've manged to get to the 2nd level, but am way off the 3rd. It is quite tricky trying to slot in the curved part for each level, but then you don't need to do this that often. This is a great addition to my physiotherapy.
Researched these quite a bit to avoid cheaper variants and very happy I did as this cake well packaged plus solid build quality and good instructions.
I’d been suffering more recently with an old windsurfing injury (lower back protruding disc) and this coupled with a shiatsu massager are a game changer. I’m really impressed how much it has helped as most of my pain has settled overnight.
Takes a few uses to get used to it as can get discomfort on initial use but recommend following the instructions and persevering.
Highly recommended!
I've had the stretcher for a few months now, and the only issue is my forgetfulness to use it. Although that may be a sign that the back pain has improved since purchase and continual use.
It has 3 heights. The third isn't for muggles; unless you're a Yoga expert or a snake, I don't recommend you even try..
On a serious note, 5 minutes on the stretcher will relieve pain/discomfort instantly. And you should start to see some longer term improvement if used daily.
I spend a lot of time sitting down travelling, as well as being an awkward sleeper, so lower back-pain has been an issue for a number of months now, and this device goes some way to receiving that pain.
For about a year i suffered issues with my lower back and a pain in the buttocks. I have had a few sessions of physiotherapy but that got put on hold due to the covid. One of these appeared on my facebook feeds and the reviews were fairly good.
Found this item on here and though for the price of a physio session could see if this would help. I have had it about a month now. I used it twice a day for the first week or so, then once a day, now every couple of days and i will honestly say my lower back issues appear to have gone.
Now - did this device do this i can't be sure. It might be a few things, like i am sitting straighter, i don't knwo... all i do know is that i have used this and im feeling better. Everyones mileage will vary but all the postive reviews would suggest these is in fact a good item for back pain!.
One critisim is that its quite painful to roll off - it starts of uncomfortable - you get used to it then you have to roll off it.....
But, my back feels better - no pain no gain.
